Artist In Residence @ The Geelong Botanic Gardens 2003-04
A series of earth installations and drawings that evolved over the period of 6 months which was followed by a solo exhibition at the Geelong Gallery in 2004.

“ These works are the fruit of a dialogue with the earth. A from is introduced as a topic of conversation and what follows is the shifting unpredictable outcomes of the interaction, the conversation between artist and earth. Her language: growth and decay; sun, wind, rain; light and darkness; all her wild, unknowable elemental forces, and the artist who responds with planting and cutting back; digging down and mounding up, gathering and dispersing, guiding, watching, accommodating…replying”

'....works on paper and digital images contained within this exhibition are a visual expression of subliminal feelings not often articulated about gardens spaces. The works successfully investigate and challenge our preconceived ideas of the values contained within historic gardens and help us redefine the spatial statements and unique qualities that make the Geelong Botanic Gardens a special place to visit.'
